Under the supervision of the Director of Retail, the Area Manager is responsible for reaching and surpassing the sales objectives and profits for all their stores – 2 in Vancouver, 1 in Edmonton and 2 in Calgary.


 Job Description

  • Manage store activities to obtain a maximum efficiency and productivity in order to surpass all sales related objectives;
  • Analyze all financial aspects of each store;
  • Ensure all the employees are trained on best sales techniques and product knowledge;
  • Make sure excellent customer service standards are achieved for each store and act as a role model and mentor towards the sales team;
  • Support, motivate and inspire staff
  • Analyze all types of reports related to sales
  • Execute follow-ups on all store activities and business plans;
  • Actively recruit talent for the in-store teams on a continuous basis and make sure to plan staff replacement. Provide all the needed support and mentoring to the management team in every aspect regarding human resources (training programs, performance evaluation, conflict management processes, and corrective measures);
  • Ensure and promote the internal career growth of the Company; and plan career paths for employees;
  • Continually find strategies to improve store operations and business development;
  • Maintain a good inventory level in each store and foresee eventual merchandise or all other needs related to inventory;
  • Analyse inventory loss results and manage the required actions in order to diminish them;
  • Ensure that the policies and procedures of the company’s in all areas of security and loss prevention are followed by all employees.



  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Area Manager preferably related to the luxury retail industry;
  • Excellent management and customer service skills;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Ability to build and manage stable management teams;
  • Knowledge of common Microsoft software (Word, Excel);
  • Master the financial aspects relating to the position and excellent business skills;
  • Recognized for having great sales team management skills.
