Description:

Our Client a leader in the luxury goods industry is looking for a Boutque Manager to join their successful team within Holt Renfrew in Vancouver BC.

Summary
Responsible for managing the sales, operations, asset protection, and human resources function of the boutique to assure a great customer experience and optimum profitability. Motivate and inspire the team to achieve productivity and sales goals.

Responsibilities:
Achieve sales and service level targets set for the boutique, recruiting and training personnel, making sure that every customer is served in a timely manner, and managing customer inquiries and complaints. Motivate the staff to provide exceptional customer service, manage shifts and complete all reports or documentations related to each shift, abide by cash collection procedures and make sure all staff members follow it. In charge of collecting cash, organizing appropriate transfer, delivering all requested reports, ensuring computer systems are functioning correctly, running periodical physical stock inventory, placing orders, and checking deliveries. The Boutique Manager also ensures the boutique is clean and well maintained, maintain a visually appealing display; and ensure the boutique complies with all applicable laws.

  • Minimum of three years of Sales/Operations management experience in retail or luxury retail or relevant customer related experience (i.e. hospitality).
  • Proven track record in sales generation and managing the achievement of sales results.
  • Flexibility to work in various roles based on business needs (i.e. on the sales floor, operations, etc).
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills using positive leadership models.
  • Proven ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Power Point, Client tracking systems and Point of Sales (POS) system.
  • Ability to present business strategy to audiences utilizing current technology with strong professional presentation skills.
  • Through professional presence and behaviors, ability to inspire trust, integrity, influence client and staff members.
  • Dynamic team player with ability to positively motivate staff and network locally and regionally to build relationships.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States or in the country where the position is based.
